Core Timer for iOS · Effective October 24, 2026

This policy explains how Foca Studio, the developer of Core Timer (App Store ID 1562215374), handles information in the native iOS app. Contact: coretimerapp@gmail.com.

Workouts and settings

Workout configurations, completed-workout history, preferences, and reminder schedules are stored on your device. Core does not upload this workout history to our servers as part of normal timer use. When upgrading from an older version, Core may create a local backup of existing app data to protect it during migration. Device backups managed by iOS or your Apple account may also contain app data, depending on your settings.

Purchases

Apple processes payments. Core uses RevenueCat to validate purchases, restore access, and manage Core Pro entitlements. This involves an app-user identifier, product and transaction information, purchase status, and technical information processed by the purchase service, such as device/platform information and network information. We do not receive your payment-card number. Core does not send workout logs to RevenueCat.

Read the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Apple Privacy Policy for details about those services.

Feedback and support

When you choose to send feedback in the app, Core sends your email address, message, iOS platform, submission time, Core Pro status, and, for premium users when available, the stored purchase identifier to our Firebase/Google Cloud Firestore service. We use this information to respond to feedback and investigate problems. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you include. Avoid including sensitive health information in your message.

See Firebase privacy information for the service provider’s practices.

Permissions, audio, and exports

Reminders use local iOS notifications with your permission. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings. Voice guidance uses iOS speech synthesis; Core does not record your microphone. If you export workout data as CSV or share it, the file is passed to the destination you choose through the iOS share sheet. That destination’s privacy practices apply.

Advertising and tracking

The native iOS app does not include advertising SDKs or use the advertising identifier for cross-app tracking. It does not request access to HealthKit, contacts, precise location, or the microphone. Apple may separately provide app diagnostics according to your device’s analytics settings.

Retention and your choices

Local records remain until you remove them or delete the app; separately held device backups are managed through your Apple/device settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription or automatically remove purchase-service records or previously submitted feedback. Purchase records may be retained to provide access, prevent fraud, and meet legal requirements. Feedback is retained as needed to handle support and related legal obligations.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold, email us using the address above. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a copy of your data, withdraw consent where consent applies, or contact a data-protection authority. We may need information to verify and locate your request. Local workout records are not accessible to us unless you choose to share them.

Service providers and security

We use Apple, RevenueCat, and Firebase/Google services for the functions described above. Providers may process information in countries outside your own. Processing is based, as applicable, on providing requested app and purchase functionality, your choice to send feedback or enable reminders, our legitimate interest in responding to support and preventing fraud, and legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use HTTPS for service requests; no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Children and changes

Core does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate. We may update this policy when the app or its services change. Updates will be published here with a revised effective date.
